Remembering

Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry
And I think we all know, how time passes by
Just remember now friends, to keep the memories alive
Of those good old times, to even and at all.. survive

Now that we have those memories in mind
Of the summers we laughed, and the winters we cried
The times you were lonely, with no shoulder to cry on
The times that seemed worse, than the times that were coming

Those days we've all had, where we couldn't see the light at the end of the ride
And we thought to ourselves, there's a reason to cry
But now it is time, to dry those wet eyes
Let's stand up in pride, and show life who's right

With friends as our trust, and god as our ally
Let's face all the darkness, that forced us to cry
So remember the good times, and seek there you're strength
So that when bad times come back, we'll be ready to make our stand
